Okay William, so I promised you a walk an hour ago -tough life sometimes isn't it!

Daily Life, Frisbee time, Ann Hyde

The frisbee is always a big hit

Daily Life,Wallace and Co, Ann Hyde

A different matter with Wallace & Gromit

William had to watch -

I kid you not.

Daily Life, TV, Ann Hyde

Every time football is on the TV, Dad has trouble watching it.   I wonder why?

Daily Life, Home after the walk, Ann Hyde

So there we are, home after a long walk and who decides he wants to play?!

How does he make one tennis ball look like dozens!

Daily Life, On the beach, Ann Hyde

Camouflage a la lurcher....the uncovered concrete structure on the beach.  This appeared after the Winter storms.   To William,  an adventure playground.

Daily Life, walkies, Ann Hyde

Having told William we are NOT going to the beach, you should have seen the face on him!
Just as well we were joking ;)

Daily Life, Lurcher cuddles, Ann Hyde

Sunning himself with Dad.

What more could a lurcher wish for.

Daily Life, Time to leave the beach, Ann Hyde

Oh No, it's that woman who draws that dog again, lol.

Time to leave the beach.
"Oh come on William, it's no good pulling that face. Home for breakfast lad."

The mid-air catch....

...there he goes, our little athlete

Daily Life, Save the tennis ball, Ann Hyde

When the tennis ball hits the waves, the fearless lurcher goes to save it.

Daily Life, tennis ball, Ann Hyde

Playing with the tennis ball on the beach. William knows he will get to it first - such a smug expression.....

I know!...you will probably have seen these in other places on the interweb...such as FB and SketchingWilliam blog...sorry for the repetition, but I can't resist this Theme and making it William.....♥ann
plus........have you noticed I have added a Link to the William sketches in Labels below ↓

Daily Life, Down to the beach, Ann Hyde

....off into the distance.  "Don't worry lad, we're coming along - slowly!"

Daily Life, In the car, Ann Hyde

Off in the car with dad

for the early morning walkies

Daily Life, Wake Up Call, Ann Hyde

I know this is like the previous theme, but our daily life seems to centre around a certain lurcher!

Starting with 'Wake up', which incidentally is unusual for us, as William The Lurcher tends to wake us up more often than not.  So if you all have the strength to put up with mostly lurcher drawings for this theme....I shall begin....

"Come on William, it's time to start the day"

Many thanks to Elisa Choi for the theme

Animals, Seal dog, Ann Hyde

I know some of you will have seen this picture elsewhere online today, but I wanted to share here...hope that's okay.

This was so funny when it happened, I not only photographed William (thelurcher) but also sketched it.  He had been out for a walk and got a little damp...we dried him off with one of his dad's old towels....it was only when he was wrapped up that he looked just like a seal....well, we thought so.

and the photo

Animals, Chatting with dad, Ann Hyde

I wonder what the secret talk was about?!

Animals, Bad Hair Day, Ann Hyde

BAD HAIR DAY - well, I guess we all have those once in a while!

Animals, the lurcher, Ann Hyde

Ummm, wonder what animal I will choose! lol.  Well, it has to start off with a lurcher called William doesn't it.
