Marina at Sunrise
This is one of my favorite ACEOs, "Marina at Sunrise" which I made two years ago, and it still has not sold. I don't know why, because I love it. It is done with WC, gouache and pen, so it is mixed media, and kind of impressionistic, I think. I find it amusing and amazing that the ones I like do not sell well, and the ones I thought were destined for the trash do sell. Go figure! Still on Ebay
This is beautiful - should sell I would think.
ReplyDeleteI thought so too, for a couple of years now. LOL.
DeleteMaybe they know you love them and want to stay with you! It is lovely!
ReplyDeleteGood point, Lynn. I must be holding onto it. Ha! Now it all makes sense.
DeleteNice painting. Funny how that happens.I had the same thing when I was showing paintings. Often what I liked least would sell first. I guess it has to do with different people having different tastes.
ReplyDeleteWow...beautiful painting ☺
ReplyDeleteAwesome and colourful painting. May be it demands a lot from the place to set it on.
ReplyDeleteHappy PPF xx
Well, I think it is stunning. The way the colors flow from one to the other is beautiful. That fiery sky really catches the eye as do the masts. The masts are my favorite part of the boats and big ships. I love to look at them....short and tall. It makes no difference. I am still fascinated by them. I hope you picture sells soon. It is beautiful. genie
ReplyDeleteThis is really lovely!!! I don't understand why it didn't sell.
