I have to say that I wasn't outdoors sketching these beautiful plants. I was indoors at the Planting Fields Arboretum in Oyster Bay. Mixed in with the tropical plants and flowers in the greenhouse were some Spring daffs and hydrangeas. It was cold outside but very warm in the greenhouse. :)

ReplyDeleteOh I do love the colours in this painting Joan.
ReplyDeleteLaurie, thank you.
ReplyDeleteTyanne, thanks. I love going into the greenhouse at our arboretum and enjoying the flowers and the warmth while I know it is cold outside. It is like a tropical oasis.
Thanks so much, Ann. With all the daffs and hydrangea and tulips it gave it some unusual color in that tropical spot.
Joan, you are the very essence of where there's a will there's a way! This is just alive with color and joy of spring!
