I forgot to add that the pips on the strawberries were done when the red had completely dried...then I used a mix of white gouche and cadmium yellow pale.
ReplyDeleteOh, these look so good, Ann!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much Joan...I used a loose style helped a great deal with the pen I used. The ink spreads slightly when water/paint collide...nice to see what happens out of my control :-)
DeleteReally lovely Ann.... good enough to eat... and the shadow is great too.
ReplyDeleteThanks Lynn, this picture reminded me of Summer :-)
ReplyDeleteCrikey Ann .... Mum and I love your work. We know nothing about art but we love what you do. Thankyou for stopping by my blog today. I really appreciated it. I hope we can be friends. We'll be popping by to say G'day whenever we can. So nice to meet you!!
ReplyDeleteCharlie's Mum, Lynn, here Ann. I just wanted to say that I really admire your work. I would so love to be able to do what you do. I cannot even draw a stick figure. Thankfully I have a very artistic daughter and one of my Granddaughters is showing a lot of promise as well.
DeleteSo good to hear from you Charlie. Thanks Lynn for stopping by here. We have a lot of fun sketching, beginners through to those who have sketched for a longer time....you should give it a go. Pick up a pencil and draw a line, doesn't need to be a straight line, it may lead you to more..........Ann :-)
DeleteThis looks so delicious!!!
ReplyDeleteThanks Joan :-)
