Music and Musicians, The Guitarist, Sirkka Jalava

I will too begin the new theme with an "old" painting  The Guitarist. I had this in my blog for a few thays ago, when I  finally decided to release  it. You know the feeling, now i can´t do anything more for it. If I must, it must be a totally new painting.

  1. This is a beautiful, strong painting of the guitarist Sirkka. I love the colours and the personality that comes across in the painting.
Thank you Sirkka for your answer about the Literature. I will see if you have your email address on your blog and answer you there. Jez
(Isn't it nice how peoples paintings raise discussion started by the picture )

  2. Lovely painting of the guitarist! I like the extra detail you have given such clear detail to his hands that are playing the notes. This is music to my eyes.

    1. Thank you Joan, I wanted to have the hands as an important spot in the painting.

  3. Sirkka, you've really caught his pose: his skill and attention and power. The hands are excellent! And the expression on his face.

  4. oh this is a lovely painting of the Guitarist you have done . Sirkka.

Everything about this painting is so detailed and he looks like I am watching him in life moving his hands and fingers..

All I need is the music.
