This is a beautiful, strong painting of the guitarist Sirkka. I love the colours and the personality that comes across in the painting.
ReplyDeleteThank you Sirkka for your answer about the Literature. I will see if you have your email address on your blog and answer you there. Jez
(Isn't it nice how peoples paintings raise discussion started by the picture )
Yes and interesting for all of us, too! :)
DeleteIt is so revival when a discussion starts! Jez, you find my e-mail in my Profil in my blog. Margaret, you too, if you want. Thanks Jez for your comment of the Guitarist.
DeleteLovely painting of the guitarist! I like the extra detail you have given such clear detail to his hands that are playing the notes. This is music to my eyes.
ReplyDeleteThank you Joan, I wanted to have the hands as an important spot in the painting.
DeleteSirkka, you've really caught his pose: his skill and attention and power. The hands are excellent! And the expression on his face.
ReplyDeleteThanks Margaret! Yes, the expression on the face will illuminate a concentration on the music.
Deleteoh this is a lovely painting of the Guitarist you have done . Sirkka.
ReplyDeleteEverything about this painting is so detailed and he looks like I am watching him in life moving his hands and fingers..
All I need is the music.
Thank you sparkle.., I am glad you like it.
DeleteGreat painting. What size and what medium did you use? I am always curious.
ReplyDeletePenny, thanks! I used acrylic colours in this, the size is 30x40 cm or 12"x15"3/4. It is good to be curious!
DeleteSirkka, you always blow me away with your ability to paint! And now you have done it again. Stupendous!
ReplyDeleteYou are SO kind, Lynn! Thank you for your words. You make me in good humour and that is important!
DeleteLynn, I hope your understand my humor, that for some can seem quite strange I guess.
