Animals, Baby Lamb by Joan Tavolott

This baby lamb was done from one of my photos take in Ireland last year...I can't believe it is already a year since that trip. I love their fuzzy little coats. I used water-soluble graphite and a "bark" inktense pencils for the shading on her coat.

  2. Thanks, Ann!

Carol Ann - I didn't pet him. The babies were pretty far into the field most of the time. Luckily I have a good zoom lens on my camera. But the sheep were everywhere we went. Ireland was great...great food, people, scenery...but it rained much too much. That was the only thing I didn't like...and maybe driving on the wrong side of the road. lol

  7. Lovely little lamb, you have captured the texture of his woolly coat so well. I would never have thought of using the Bark Inktense pencil for this, I think I shall have to be more adventurous.
