Kitchen & my coffee #1. Gloria V.

I'm joining in with Lynn for Paper, Paint, Pencils & Pens. It should be a lot of fun, except I mostly paint faces and am just learning to doodle buildings and other, so please bear with me. Lynn asked me to introduce myself and thanks Lynn for the invite.
I'm Gloria and go by glorv1 for my blog. I participate mainly in Paint Party Friday, 29 Faces and very little else, except now-PPPP and of course a few of my fun day posts. It's very nice to meet everyone and look forward to posting more and see/reading your posts as well.
That's all I have to say-tee hee.
The theme for March 1-15 is Kitchen.
I wasn't sure what to doodle but did have a picture of my small cups with the coffee can on the table. This is what came of it though.  Very hard for me to draw "items," so to speak, but here are my little cups. Watercolors, pens and done on what is called artist tiles/vellum surface.

  1. What a great start Gloria, I love the colours they are very striking. In fact this painting would make a great poster or print for a tea towel.

  5. Are your cups Fiestaware? That's what those colorful colors remind me of. Nice sketch of a bit of your kitchen. Glad to have you join us!

    1. Thanks Joan. I need all the encouragement I can get. tee hee. No they aren't Fiestaware. They are espresso cups from World Import store and are small in size. I like Fiestaware though.:) Thanks for the comment.

  7. Hi Gloria! I'm a little late coming to meet you, but hello! I love the colors here too, and the fun lines and perspective! I also incidentally am loving seeing all the different coffees people are drawing. I've never had Cafe Bustelo!
