I'm enjoying this inside view of everyone's kitchens!
Done with a good old Sharpie Ultra Fine Point Permanent Marker
and some Talen Gouache paints. This marker isn't fine enough for ATC's,
but for this larger format I love them!

I see a few things I can eat there! Strawberries and broccoli, blue berries. Are those Greek olives! And pine nuts perhaps? I'll leave you the eggs and spam, however! Thanks for this peek into your fridge. Nicely drawn and painted, Lisa. Thanks for the prompt! It will keep me busy these two weeks!
ReplyDeleteLol, I believe the pine nuts are actually baby carrots. I did go back and add some more orange to them. And the Greek olives may be blackberries or blueberries. :)
DeleteI love Spam too, but I like it really fried till it's crisp. Love your strawberries and broccoli. I could go for that too. I'm getting hungry. I'm having grits for dinner, that's all, just grits. :) Great rendition of the inside of your frig.
ReplyDeleteOh yeah. Spam must be fried and I eat it on two pieces of toasted (whole wheat, so it's healthy) bread! :D
DeleteLisa, I love all your translucent containers with the food inside. Looks like mostly healthy eating. Nice sketch!
ReplyDeleteLisa, I like your drawing of the food in your frig. Well done!
ReplyDeleteI love your drawing Lisa!
ReplyDeleteOmg you made me laugh....lol Still laughing about maybe needing a salt block to lick... Spam....haven't even seen that since I was a kid and my mom would grate it with relish and mayo and make special sandwiches....we loved it!! My daughter has never had that or bologna in her 28 years of life!! lol I like both.... but no longer eat them. Wonderful drawing!

Lol, I think Spam is from my childhood, too. I hardly ever eat it. Just one of those occasional splurges! :)
Deletewonderful illustration! You had me loving your food choices-until you said the one was Spam-ugh! I had to eat that growing up and never liked it. I'd rather have the salt block-and make it sea salt :)
