My first sketch of the theme "kitchen". I think to go from a overall picture to the details, or something like that. Ok, here there is or are the heart(s) in a kitchen, oven(s). On the right side is the electical oven and on the left side oven with woodheating, above them the ventilation crop. Made this in acrylic colours.

Hi Sirkka. I love your kitchen. It's laid out just right. I don't know how to do this type of painting but I will learn. Great job!
ReplyDeleteHello! Thank you for your comment. I did this only with a brush and acrylic colors, You can do it too, I am sure. Thank you!
DeleteI feel the warmth from the wood burning stove, and wonder about the good smells as to what's cooking or baking there? Your painting makes it look so welcoming. I like these soft colors, and shadings.
ReplyDeleteLynn, I have wood burning there every day in winter time, the warmth from it is so lovely! Thank you Lynn!
DeleteLove this warm and inviting kitchen. I miss woodburning stoves! Had one for over 30 years. Thanks for inviting us into your kitchen, Sirkka!
ReplyDeleteLisa, here on 60 - 70 `s the people used to take all the stoves away and the central heating took over. But now again most people when they build a new house they want to have wood heating stoves too (and the central heating of course). You are wellcome! Thanks.
