Gardens and Parks, Terra Cotta Pots and Plants, Penny StewArt

Terra Cotta Pots and Plants from my yard.
Another ATC card.  Mixed Media, Acrylic and Pen, 2.5 x 3.5 inches.

I love making these little paintings, and some of you have asked about them.  I made a blog post that gives more information, and answers questions like "What is the difference between ATC and ACEO cards?" Also, I am giving away 9 of my hand painted cards and a kit to get you started making your own.  Just comment on the blog post and you are entered!  Thanks.

  3. Thanks, Laurie and Ann. The acrylic paints are much more intense and bold than watercolors. But I love both mediums.

  4. I'll say, I'd have thought the acrylics were oil paints for their thickness/texture. I clicked on the photo and brought it up on even darker black background and larger and it popped right off the screen. Beautiful!!!!!!!!!!!! I'll check out your blog too.

  6. Thanks, Joan and Lynn! I cannot do oils because of being allergic to them, but acrylics can be as bold and as thick as oils any day, without the smells!
