Night Scenes, Lynn Cohen in Outer Space
I drew this for Everyday in October's prompt for today, which is "Outer Space". I thought it fit perfectly for our prompt here "Night Scenery" ... It's me from a photo taken in a toy store where I tried on a space helmet! I drew this with ball point and gel pens! Fun?
Tomorrow we switch themes! So last day to post your Night Scenes!

Night Scenery, Night Cityscape by Elisa Choi
Night Cityscape in Singapore. I rarely paint a night scenery and find it challenging. But I learned after that I need to leave the white of the paper as light.

Night Scenery, Almost Dark, Ann Hyde
The setting sun over the Atlantic - I hope this counts sufficiently as Night Scenery for our Theme. I took it from a photo recently and it was so close to dark, if I had blinked, I would have missed it.

Night Scenery, Main Street at Night, by Joan Tavolott
I have a local sketch group that meets every Wednesday night. In the summer it isn't a problem to find locations to sketch, but now that it is getting dark earlier it gets more difficult. Last night we went to Patchogue. Rain was forecast so the plan was to sit inside the coffee shop and sketch, but the rain didn't come until much later so we set up outside the coffee shop. I started sketching this about 6:30 and by the time I was ready to paint it had turned dark. We had enough light from the inside of the coffee shop and the street lights to still be able to finish by 7:30.
