Patterns & Textures, Rocks, Ann Hyde

A walk along the cliffs yesterday gave me the inspiration for this painting.  I got Texture into this by using some Daniel Smith Watercolor Ground in a thick layer on the paper, and drew into it before it dried to leave the rock patterns.  Once dry, I then added the paint.

    1. It's very good for texture Penny. I've used it on canvas but this was the first time using it on paper for watercolour.
