"Flip Flops" © CL Christian, 2015. Since I grew up on a beach along the Texas Gulf Coast near Galveston, my favorite shoes were flip flops.

Perfect Summer attire - love this painting :-)
ReplyDeleteCharming drawing of them and the shells! My best friend Patty collected flip flops. She had them in all designs imaginable. A closet full.
ReplyDeleteThanks Ann & Lynn! Reminds of happier times growing up on the beach!
ReplyDeleteForgot to mention this. If you turn the painting upside down the flip flops form a HEART because I love the beach so much!
ReplyDeleteFun idea with 2 ways to view!
ReplyDeleteThanks Donna! I do like to be "creative & different" with a twist of mystery. I hope you will read the inspiration behind my art in my short story, "The Dream & the Gift" on 52-Week Flash Fiction Challenge. It's a great group with a lot of good short stories written by members. A lot of the writers include original art or photographs with their short stories which makes it all that much more fun! My story is fiction, but was inspired by my childhood growing up on the Texas Gulf Coast. I'm sure you will enjoy it too! Thanks for your comment!
