Water, the Japanese Pond by Joan Tavolott

The NYC Urban Sketchers were at the Brooklyn Botanical Gardens today and the cherry blossoms and magnolias were magnificent! This sketch was done by the Japanese Pond.

  2. You have done so many fine sketches from various city parks and gardens. All of them are great, this too. It shows how verdant, plenties of green there is, by the water.

  3. Thanks, Ann. It was a perfect day there yesterday...the cherry blossoms were all in bloom...as well as the magnolias and tulips.

Sirkka, thanks so much. It is such a nice time of the year to be out sketching and painting.
