Big Ben, London, England
Although I have been to Europe 7 times, I have never been to London. Here is a quick sketch ACEO size, watercolor and pen, of Big Ben. Until I researched this online, I did not know that there were clock faces on all 4 sides.
Your version looks wonderful!
ReplyDeletewho knew??? great sketch.
ReplyDeleteSeems like London is a definite stop for you! Lovely pic of Big Ben.
ReplyDeleteLove your BIG BEN!

Excellent drawing Penny, I love it. (as a useless piece of information for folks. some think that Big Ben is the name for the faces of the clock, but it's actually the name of the Bell inside the tower) ♪♫♪
ReplyDeleteThanks, Ann. I did not know that either! Learn something new every day.
DeleteI love your multi sided Big Ben. I have seen him in person! Your rendition is quite exciting. If you do get to London be sure to see Hampton Court, awesome castle of the King Henrys.
ReplyDeleteLOL. Thanks, Lynn. I probably won't be traveling any more. I don't even drive now. But I can paint the world!
DeleteLOVE to see your Big Ben - it is wonderful!! Happy PPF!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Tammie. Much Appreciated!
DeletePenny I love your ink lines in this!!! Great job! I've been to London but not in a long, long time.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Joan. I almost threw it out, but kept on going. Putting it away overnight, it looked much better to me the next day.
