One of the best things about the holidays is getting together with family and friends. This is a sketch of me (left), Maureen (center) and Rhea (right). They are two friends I taught with for many years. We are all retired and get together about once a month. We spent a day in Manhattan before Christmas to see the decorations, the Rockefeller Center Christmas tree, and shop in some of the holiday markets that have such interesting things. Some nice tourist took a photo of us against the backdrop of the city at night. That is the reference I used for this sketch.
