After a physically tiring day I lay in bed and looked to my left at this shelf that houses all my pursuits. Books, sketchbooks, yarn and on-going knitting projects... not a sophisticated composed drawing, simply a doodle that was a pleasure as my pen wandered over the page and I never really looked properly at what I was sketching. Then I broke out all three watercolour palettes and was like a kid in a candy store colouring it all in.

ReplyDeleteThanks guys -- it did make me appreciate what a beautiful bunch of eye candy I had that I had sort of been ignoring because it's next to where I sleep! It's also sort of embarassing how many projects I have going on at the same time...
