Treasures and Mementos, Rose petal dish, Ann Hyde
I have this precious rose petal dish handed down to me by family. Made of china, the idea is you put rose petals in it and the smell of them wafts out through gaps in the dish. I don't often use it for that purpose these days, but I love seeing it on my bookshelf.

Pretty dish and it must smell lovely when the rose petals are in it.
ReplyDeleteIt does smell good, certainly does the job it was made for.

DeleteAnn, sweet bowl with nice functionality. Even just sitting on shelf. You paint it so delicately.
ReplyDeleteThanks Lynn, it's a very special bowl to me, it was nice to sketch it after having had it so long :-)
