My husband and I went to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico with my sister and brother-in-law a while ago. There were people selling all kinds of trinkets on the beach. I loved the sound of this little turtle-shaped ocarina. Of course the young man who sold it to me could make it sound lovely. When I blow into it the sound is more like a screeching cat. lol

ReplyDeleteIt's such a cute one! I love ocarinas and have several. None of mine look like turtles, though!
ReplyDeleteMelisa, thank you. The turtle shape is what attracted me and I liked the design.
DeleteThis is very nice treasure.
ReplyDeleteVery nice, Joan! I feel like I can hold him in my hand. I love the color of the clay.
ReplyDeleteSweet! I love the pyramid on its back and the nice memory behind it. Blessings!
ReplyDeleteJoan, you are so funny! Screeching cat or not, the painted instrument is colorful and well drawn and painted!
ReplyDeleteJoan, nice job with the ocarina. The pyramid makes it feel timeless or very old.
