Treasures and mementos, Five wooden horses, Sirkka Jalava

I have seen and read of all your fantastic treasures and the stories about them and have thought, that I have just nothing to show and tell you. Now i have been furnishing on a new way at home and found the horses.  Ok, you can see them now.
It is not real horses, but such of wood. The story is, that a neighbour gave these horses to our sons, when we lived in Sweden. The sons were a couple of years old and the children of this neighbour had already moved out as adult and she wanted to give them to my sons. The horses are very special, because they are a symbol of a province Dalarna in Sweden. They are manufactured in plenties every year. They have certain colours and form.

    I love reading everyone's stories about their treasures. You did a great job on the horses and all their different decorations! Ho nice that you neighbor shared them with your sons.

      Thank you so much, Joan! Agree, it is intresting to read the stories. It was nice to give away the horses. The decorations are traditionally made, therefore I tried to do them so right as possible.

      Thank you so much, Margaret, for your words! I wanted to draw everyone of them, because they are of different size and the decorations are a little different.
