Dogs are a big part of my daily life. They're a part of my morning routine, as I take them out first thing in the morning; they are the first ones to greet me when I get home; and they are my faithful studio companions. Rossy, my petite Chihuahua/Rat Terrier mix, also loves to curl up with me when I take a nap or sit on the couch. The sketch below is based on a photograph I took of her during the latter. Don't you agree she's sweet?

Nice lines showing the shape and direction of the fur around her face and body. You captured her spirit nicely. What is the round white form to her right?
ReplyDeleteThat's her hind right leg and tail. She's got the Rat Terrier's markings. She is also sitting on a throw I had on my legs.
