Daily Life "My Workstation" by Elisa Choi

I spend everyday of my time in front of the computer to do a lot of things like writing, plan for business, research, post process my paintings, and put ideas into a design. I have a num pad below my laptop to help me navigate comfortably around the web since I sometimes suffer from a mild carpal tunnel syndrome. I use a Wacom tablet (right) instead of a mouse because I do digital illustrations and other designs and therefore it helps make the work easier like holding a pencil. Sometimes I listen to music with the earphones inside the pouch.

It is very lovely to see your daily life in sketches. It makes me smile. :)

  1. A good sketch of your multi-tasking work-station, everything catered for except the coffee at the moment. I haven't heard of a num pad, though I do have a wacom tablet which I haven't used for ages. It's so interesting to see how other people work and set up their workplace.

  2. Nice you have the money for all those gadgets. I have arthritic of my fingers and wrist but since I used the computer mine has got alot better.

I used to write by hand my journals and write letters. I seldom do now as if I do them my writs ache and fingers stiffen. If I do too much art or sketching then I have to stop for an hour or so and then go back to it. All part of life for me and my Colitis problems.

I just have to learn to quit for awhile and not over do it. It is like that with life. When to say yes and when to say no.

    Elisa.

  4. Good arrangement - can we call this a modern still life (instead of a bowl of fruit)? :)
