Daily Life, Kindle, Jez Eden

My kindle is one of my best friends, I love it and the ease with which it can be used anywhere.  I have found so many good books and new-to-me authors through it in the last couple of years.  Dev always leaves it to me to find books for him!  Fortunately we have similar tastes in books so, since our Kindles are linked, my choices do for both of us.

This was sketched yesterday morning instead of reading, just after breakfast, with my cup of camomile tea to hand, though it looks more like a fried egg with a handle.  The commercially knitted Belkin bag fits more snugly than I have drawn, and is so much more convenient than the leather case I used at first - and it fits in my handbag more easily.

As for the Collect Prescriptions note, I don't know where we would be without such reminders for everything we have to do.  After-breakfast is a very pleasant peaceful time, broken only when we read out funny or interesting snatches from the book we are reading.

    I love this little peek into your morning Jez and your sense of humor coming through in your explanation. I think the cup and bag and Kindle are all drawn well. I like the color choices. Thanks too for the reminder that I too have pills to pick up from the pharmacy on Wednesday this week.

    Love this post Jez...all the things we have here too...well, not Kindle but we do have ipads (similar I think?). Lynn is right with the reminder of prescriptions!!! oh heck, must do that tomorrow - Thanks for the reminder Jez :-)

      I do recommend a kindle Ann, I never thought I would like one but I love it. And my I-pad, and my Macbook. Who says oldies don't keep up with technology,

    Jez we have a kindle too and it is very convenient to read some ebooks though i prefer paperback. lovely sketch and a warm routine with your loved one. take care!
