Really zonked out most of the time now, but at least the pills control the pain a bit. Dev came and woke me for lunch and more pills. Determined not to give in until I really have to I quickly sketched the top shelf of my bedside table. That's it. No energy for commenting, so I'm sorry. Here it is:
That's it. Back to bed now. Thank you for your good wishes and I hope all of you are well.

Oh Jez, my heart aches for you in pain. Keep taking the pills please. I do love this little bed side table full of your treasures and necessary items. It tells us the story of your life right now. Will you need surgery/operation I wonder? Sending gentle hugs your way. And for Dev too, this has to be hard on him as well seeing you hurting and all.
ReplyDeleteSorry you aren't feeling any better. I know the pain meds really make you sleepy and don't put you in the mood for doing anything. When I saw the bell I was wondering if you ring it for help, and then I saw the comment that your husband doesn't hear it. Mine wouldn't hear it either. Nice sketch of your bedside table which is much neater than mine. Don't worry about not being able to comment...just feel better. ((Hugs))
ReplyDeleteThis is a beautiful drawing of your table, Jez, and so real, thank you for sharing this with us! Wishing you a good recovery, take good care of yourself.
