I have 3-4 deeres living here near by me. They come every day and will see in my garden, if there is something to eat for them. Often there is and they find it. (I do not give them any food.)
This deere is satisfied with the life just now. she is enjoying the peaceful, warm spring time evening befor the night. And I was so surprised when I looked at her, because she is ruminating! I had never thougt of it!
She does do pricesly the same as a cow does.
How lovely for you to see these gorgeous creatures every day. Fabulous sketch.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Laura. So it is, they are my friends.
DeleteYou are so fortunate to have country living. I would love to live in a nature center preserve. I post pictures (on my daily blog) of my walks every day and of my visits to wetlands and nature centers. . . and then draw/paint them and put them on the art blog. I would love to be part of your blog. Pastels are my fave. .. you picture is wondrous. Thank you. Blessings, Janet PPF

DeleteA lovely peaceful scene Sirkkis, and in your painting the deer looks so relaxed and peaceful. It is such a lovely painting of her set in the woodland.
ReplyDeleteThank you Jez! It really seemed so, that the deer was relaxed and really enyoyed the life this moment.
DeleteSorry Sirkka, I mis-spelt your name by accident and I apologise. Jez
ReplyDeleteJez, it is not so easy with foreign names, I see it. And in the fact, there is a Sirkkis too in this blogworld, or even too. You are aplogised Jez, my pleasure.
DeleteI have deer at my door almost every day as I live in the country. Very nice sketch and color you have done Sirkka.
