Time Away From Home, The Henry Ford Museum, Rob Kulas

I had a chance to visit the Henry Ford Museum in Deerborn MI.
Truly one of the most inspiring places I have ever been to.
Surrounded by amazing inventions by Thomas Edison, Henry Ford and countless others.
I spent some time sketching some of the fantastic cars on exhibit.

This is one of my favorites

  1. Beautiful charcoal work, Rob. Or is it just pencil/graphite? Me guessing here.

    1. Thanks Ann. Yes the lighting on this car was part of what I wanted to capture in the sketch.

  3. Beautiful graphite drawing, Rob, great perspective, and you have captured the feeling of power as if the car is thrusting forward towards the dark background. I find your work very inspirational.
