HUMANS AND WHAT THEY DO - The Birdfeeder by Fran

My husband's daily activity.  He feeds the hungry and very fat birds that flock to our yard.  I wonder if we could call them a tax deduction.  They eat enough.

    1. It is part of his daily routine. We have a big kitchen window and it is fun to watch the birds and their little "pecking order" battles...who gets to eat first.

    1. Thanks Lynn. Yes it does resemble him quite a lot to the point that he does not like it. A profile shows too many bad features which he (and they say women are vain) does not like.

    1. Thank you Elisa. He is a pretty good looking guy. This is almost entirely marker. My hubby, the house and bird feeder are mostly Copic markers. The foliage is water based marker (Crayola) dabbled with plain water which gives it a watercolor look.

    1. Thank you. It was done from a photo. I trace the position and outline of objects and do the rest with color. There is also some ink outlining which I wish I had not done.

  9. This is a marvellous painting, and he looks a really pleasant fellow. It looks like a little haven in this section of the garden, and it's always a delight to watch the birds.
