Walking Home, Gardens and Parks, GloriaV

In my imagination I see this lady with a red dress walking down the path to her home. It's going into Spring so there is still a chill in the air. The fireplaces are going in a couple of homes and her son walks ahead of his mom,  kind of looking at us as we see them. It's a quaint neighborhood with nice homes, gardens, with manicured lawns and church going peoples. Perhaps in her bag she holds makings for bread in the kitchen and a treat for her son as well. Ah, imagination.....Think I'll go back to sleep. Tee hee.

Have a great day everyone and I will try to get to your posts today.

Walking Home-PPPP, Ipad/P53glv

As you can see, the lay of the  land and houses, buildings, etc., still puzzle me.  It's good to continue to learn.

  9. It is such a good idea to draw from the imagination - I wish I had thought of that when I have been struggling to find a subject. I love the strong lines of the painting and the way you have painted the trees. And the story it tells with the lady in red is great. It's a very good iPad picture - I though perhaps I should not use the iPad, but it will give me more to enjoy if I can sit and draw on the pad. You are very skilled at it.

  10. I love the feeling of height in this painting. I feel like I'm watching from the top of a high hill. A very fun painting!
