Kitchen, A dog as guest, Sirkka Jalava

Inspired of Marlas little dog in her kitchen, thank you Marla! I will show a little dog in my kitchen too!! I was a "babysitter" for some days for this lovely dog in february and while she was sleeping I painted she a couple of times. And here she is sleeping in my kitchen. We had a good time together, walked a lot. I missed her, when she left for home again.

    1. Thank you, Elisa. She is so good and sweet, she wanted to sleep near by me all the time, went after me when I moved on, from a place to an other.

  5. You have such a way with painting, I can "feel" the warmth of this sweet animal on your kitchen floor! I love the colors you've given it and the surrounding colors as well! Beautiful two paintings.

    1. Thanks Lynn! I tried to have her colors as far as possible. She is an Irish Springer Spaniel, if I remember right.

    1. She is really a good company and pretty and friendly dog. And because she is so old (13 years) she was very pleased with our walks and came home with pleasure and sleeped again! Thank you , Fran!

  7. Hi Sirkka. I think that dogs are drawn to the kitchen because it is warm and there are always scents there. This is a great painting of your friendly visitor. It's great that you babysat this beautiful creature.:)
