I can't keep up with the flood of wonderful art being posted! I may not get a chance to comment on everything, but I'm enjoying it all!
This is from a photo I took of my morning oatmeal a few days ago. I thought I'd better draw it quickly before we go on to the next theme! The strawberries were HUGE though I may have exaggerated them a little. :) The tablecloth is a figment of my imagination and a good excuse to splash watercolors around.
My bowl looks more like a plate, but, oh well! Looking forward to more kitchen goodies!
Sharpie and gouache.

I love these HUGE strawberries, Lisa! And the blueberries. Are the smaller berries just smaller blueberries or another variety? I think your bowl is quite bowlish! There is no rule about commenting. If you can fine, if not, well, no demerits are given out. ;-) Fun table cloth too.
ReplyDeleteLove the shadow and shine on spoon and bowl. And how unlike me, you remember to make room for the spoon so the bowl lines are not on top of it. Bon Appetite!
Actually, the smaller ones are blackberries. Never can quite figure out how to make those look right.
DeleteHi Lisa. That is my favorite for any time of day. I think you did a great job.
ReplyDeleteYou must have some of those huge CA strawberries. lol I remember having some that were nearly the size of my palm...yes, I am exaggerating a bit. I like your sketch of the oatmeal in the bowl. I eat oatmeal nearly every morning, but with blueberries in it.
ReplyDeleteI love how the made-up tablecloth adds perspective and color to the whole thing!
ReplyDeleteLisa, you have sketched a nice bowl with many goodies!
