To day it is raining a calm spring rain, quiet and soft, but there is also a little snow from time to time. So I have no flowers yet to show you, I can not sit out either and draw. But after my morning promenade on about one hour, I sat in the kitchen seeing out through the window and saw the birdhouse hanging on a spruce branch and that´s it, I would sketch to day! There you can see some birds and a squirrel on the way to the birdhouse. Have a nice day!

the view from your window never disappoints!
ReplyDeleteThank you Laurie. I am delighted when you say so:)
DeleteI think the birdhouse is the perfect thing to focus on from the warmth of your house. Well done!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Joan.
DeleteLovely tree Sirkka! I enjoy observing you painted surfaces. The tiny birdhouse tells us just how huge that tree is! Enjoy your rainy day. We could use some rain here.
ReplyDeleteLynn, thank you. I enjoyed the rain, now I can enjoy the sunshine again. I hope you get rain sometimes too!
DeleteYou are lucky to have red squirrels where you live. Here in England red squirrels are endangered because of the grey squirrels and I think there has also been a problem with a virus. The ones that visit our garden are grey, so I like to see your little red squirrel in the tree.
ReplyDeleteI love your picture of the view from your window, you have shown the distance very well. At least it looks as though your snow has gone.
Jez, thank you. The snow has gone and the spring is finally here ( i hope at least). The squirrels are red here yes, but in the winter they are grey. They have winter and summer fur here, just like the hares too, in the winter they are white, in the summer grey or brown. Interesting, isn´t it!
DeleteThank you Fran!
