ATC: The Shovel in the Garden
I love these orange and red flowers that seem to grow everywhere in the garden. They look so pretty against the varied shades of green leaves. The shovel propped against the fence seems to be waiting for someone (not me) to start working on the flower beds. It is Spring, after all.
I wonder if those are narstrushums. (sp?) I like this painting arrangement, it's colors and again those bold black outlines!
ReplyDeleteYes, I think they are nasturtiums. My daughter says we can eat them, but I doubt that!
DeleteYour daughter is right! I wrote more below.
DeleteThis is so pretty!
ReplyDeleteI like these flowers too. They do look like Nasturtiums. Very nice job Penny. That shovel is waiting for someone.:)
ReplyDeletebeautiful shovel in the garden, our gardens are still under many feet of snow, I would need to use that shovel to find my garden!!
ReplyDeleteThis is a really nice painting. I wish I had lovely yellow and orange flowers growing everywhere.
ReplyDeleteThe flowers make a wonderful design, and the shovel is the perfect counterpart! Are they nasturtium?
ReplyDeleteLovely design the way thw trailing nasturtiums balance the weight of the spade. Great colours too, all packed into your small ATC space. Great admiration from me.
ReplyDeleteThanks, everyone! My daughter says they are edible Nasturtiums. I think I will pass on that meal. Although they would be vegan . . .
ReplyDeleteYes, they absolutely are ediable even if I can't spell them. Fine restaurants put them on food plates as garnish but edible garnish.Try them in a salad they not only brighten them up colorfully, they taste good too.
DeleteLove the detail in the flowers and leaves and the shovel makes me think that maybe some hunky gardner will come along and help you. lol Great job on this!
