Gardens and Parks, "The Shovel" by Penny StewArt

ATC:  The Shovel in the Garden
I love these orange and red flowers that seem to grow everywhere in the garden.  They look so pretty against the varied shades of green leaves.  The shovel propped against the fence seems to be waiting for someone (not me) to start working on the flower beds.  It is Spring, after all.

    1. Yes, I think they are nasturtiums. My daughter says we can eat them, but I doubt that!

  5. The flowers make a wonderful design, and the shovel is the perfect counterpart! Are they nasturtium?

  6. Lovely design the way thw trailing nasturtiums balance the weight of the spade. Great colours too, all packed into your small ATC space. Great admiration from me.

  7. Thanks, everyone! My daughter says they are edible Nasturtiums. I think I will pass on that meal. Although they would be vegan . . .

    1. Yes, they absolutely are ediable even if I can't spell them. Fine restaurants put them on food plates as garnish but edible garnish.Try them in a salad they not only brighten them up colorfully, they taste good too.
