Close to home A dog by Sirkka Jalava
Close to home is this too, I can say. I have a sweet dog here as guest during "the parents" are travelling. I have sketched she with oil pastels after our promenade just by sunset. I think the red in the background comes from the red sunset.
Well, I happen to know you like red! ;-) This dog looks so content in your drawing, I have to believe she is very happy from her walk with you! You can tell by her dreamy look while she sleeps! So well done. I like the rich colors and the texture of her fur from the use of the oil pastels.
Melisa, she was tired after our walk. She went to her home today, so I am missing. We got really friends with each others. She is already 13 years old so we can understand she got tired...
