Close to home, Sirkka Jalava

Inspired of Lynns and Joans pictures of people I will show you a pencil sketch of one of my grandchildren, a 3 years old boy cute, sweetheart. Some of you have perhaps seen it in my blog, but I hope its ok here too. It  is close to home.
An evening sitting and looking the tv I sketched these chairs below with colored pencils and tusch (drawing ink). The scanning was not so good.

    Sirkka, your grandson is adorable!!! Chairs like that are great to sketch...they have so much character. Nice sketches!

    Your grandchild beautifully drawn, Sirkka. So precious is he, and what detail! I have no doubt we are seeing him just as he looks in real life. Your chairs are pretty in their stately colored pencil colors! I do appreciate your art!

    Sirkka, he looks like a sweetheart! And what a wonderful drawing. I really like the chairs, too! Their curvy legs, the upholstery, and the way they're leaning next to the window...
