Hello at this new blog!
I'm glad to draw with all of you again! So my first drawing for the topic "close to home" is one I did last summer. It shows the view I can see when I look out of the window of my living room. It shows the so called 'Kaisertrutz' of Görlitz (the town where I actually live) and a little festival where you could bring your own picnic and watch to some artists and music at a little stage.

Love this view. How lucky to have music on stage out of your window.
ReplyDeleteThanks. :-) It was a very nice event and a lot of fun to draw it.
DeleteLovely drawing of this theather. Can the music come into your windows? Wonderful. Which country do you hail from, remind me please?
ReplyDeleteWonderful to see your art once more.
Yes, I could hear everything of it. I'm sharing my art right from Germany. :-)

That's a wonderful view, Marlene! I love that you included your paints.
ReplyDeleteLove your sketch of the view!!! I like that you made your painting materials part of the scene too. How great that there can be a festival going on and you can see it and hear it from your living room.
ReplyDeleteReally love this view! :)
