This is a painting of the yellow roses my husband, Jerry, bought me for Valentine's Day. They are already really drooping and didn't last for very long. Glad I was able to paint them while I could.
This is 8 x 10.

So pretty! A lovely painting! And a very sweet thoughtful husband! ;-)
ReplyDeleteWell, you have your lovely painting to keep for memories long after the flowers themselves have gone :-)
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely buket of roses. I love your painting of them. Good you painted them so you have them when flowers are gone. Beautiful!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous! The flowers might not have lasted long but the beautiful painting will.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful job! You're a talented painter!
ReplyDeleteThanks everyone! Yesterday I threw away all the roses except for two that still looked fairly fresh. I usually try to paint the flowers he gives me so they last longer. lol
