Close to the Core Home as it Were. Mary Walker
I worked from that place within that is primitive and a little annoyed. The place that kicks the inner critic in the nose a clamor within while climbing the side of a steep rock faced wall of indecision. The artistic moment that gives you a dry mouth and a tight chest. The angry headache that appears when you finally stop to see what you've made. Feels like home to me.

I love your process and glad you stuck with it and I think are relatively happy with the outcome! I sure am!!
ReplyDeleteMy oldest brother would say that while all that may be true, the most important thing is that it contains an armadillo. :) They have become sort of a family mascot. I hope this was as fun to sketch as it looks like it was. It makes me want to get out my crayons!
ReplyDeleteThis looks like a wonderful way to let things out. Nice!!
ReplyDeleteI love all the colors, and I am quite drawn to the armadillo!
