Holiday, Lynn Cohen, Chanukah
I drew this for Everyday in December Challenge: "Gilded", however it's actually my grandmothers brass menorah. The coins are gold foil covered chocolates! The Jewish holiday of Chanukah lasts for eight nights, the middle candle is called the "shamus" or helper, that is used to light the others. Tonight we lit three for the third night. My drawing should be posted on the eighth night of Chanukah. But enjoy it early!

A Holiday, Lynn Cohen, "Chanukah Elf"
Sharing a drawing I did for Every Day in December, our first prompt there was to "Elf Yourself"!
So I created a Chanukah Elf. I hope you like it. The "dreidels" on the table are for a game we play at Chanukah, and the menorah (candle holder) of course is to light the eight candles that commemorate the eight days oil burned in the temple, therefore the celebration lasts for eight days.

Theme: Holiday, CL Christian
An oil painting of a cardinal that I call "Don't Ruffle my Feathers". I like using my original artwork for our annual Christmas card. Christmas is my favorite holiday.
