I recently sketched from the upper deck of a restaurant in the central pedestrian mall in Brisbane. I love being up at tree height and watching the activity below. It was also a good opportunity for another try at sketching this historic cinema, which has been turned into a visitor centre with only the ornate lobby and sign remaining.
