Something About Me, Lynn Cohen
Well, I am an artist who uses coffee houses, book stores, restaurants and the like as my art studio(s) to draw in ... I spend good parts of mornings 3-5 days a week drawing between 2-5 drawings at a sitting. I color them there with watercolors (above) or colored pencils or markers or crayons/pastels/.
I like having fun by giving my people conversations on occasion or just balloons like these to tell my viewer what was going on.
Have a fun and creative week! SEE MY REQUEST FOR OUR CONTRIBUTORS OR VISITORS TO SEND ME SUGGESTIONS FOR NEW THEMES FOR 2016. THANKS!

You're so impressive! I have difficulty drawing in public, but you are amazing!
ReplyDeleteThanks Lisa. It hasn't always been easy for me. It started as a personal challenge, as I was just teaching myself to draw by doing it. I'd read a little Danny Gregory. Seen his breakfast video. Then just started drawing what I saw in front of me, mostly then at a local Mexican restaurant near my office where'd go fo lunch. And I never stopped. So those first shaky days and drawings could only get better. I'm still working on that.
Deletefantastic sketches Lynn. the added conversations gives your sketch a punch. keep it up!
