Clothes and Shoes, Lynn Cohen
In the drawing group, Every Day in August, the prompt for today is "Frozen". I drew myself bundled up as I was on this day in 2001 in Minnesota. I am from California, so whenever we visited my husband's family in MN in winter I froze! This particular winter happened to be the coldest since 1800 and something ... I thought the drawing in all those CLOTHES was appropriate for out current theme!

Lovely drawing of Wintertime Lynn...I feel like that every Winter here! lol.
ReplyDeleteI am so grateful not to live in a climate that has cold winters, not frozen cold that is. I would love rain and I can bundle up for cold in California, but NOT MN or yours then either I'm afraid.
DeleteThis is a great sketch, and warm greetings from Montreal, Canada, where our summers are dangerously hot and humid and our winters are very cold. :)
ReplyDeleteThanks Linda! Sounds like you get lots of extremes where you are!
Deleteoh no hope you warm up soon ..great fun sketch
ReplyDeleteLynn, I love it...you have captured winter, as I'm beginning to shiver .....I LOVE our California sun. This was really cute. Hugs.,
ReplyDeleteReally fun illustration! I'm from California too and definitely bundle up when I visit cold places...
ReplyDeleteThis is kind of scary, not because it is a terrible drawing- it is actually wonderful- but because it reminds me that winter is coming again, at some point. Sad about that. But I wanted to thank you for your wonderful comment on my bog. It is comforting to here other people in this same kidney situation, lots of time it does feel kind of isolating. Hugs-Erika
