Tropical Sunrise with Sailboat, in Florida
ACEO 2.5 x 3.5 inches, watercolor and pen
I have never been to Florida, and one of my internet facebook friends, Robin, lives there, on a sailboat, so I imagine this is what she sees every morning, from the deck of her little abode. I used to live in Hawaii, so this could be a view from my distant memory, or maybe when I went to the beach in Venice, California. I still live in the Los Angeles area, so palm trees and the ocean are always nearby.
This scene looks very tropical and lovely Penny. Oh for warm weather.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Ann. We do have warm, even hot weather here in So Cal this week. It is going to be in the 90's this weekend.
DeletePenny, I keep forgetting that you and I are a mere what 6-8 hours from one another! This is a lovely scene indeed. I love to hang out in this sort of area. Very relaxing! Pretty picture of it from your memory!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Lynn. Yes, we are lucky to live in Sunny So Cal!
DeleteI am in No. CA... (Vacaville, if you are ever up this way!)
DeleteI never go anyplace now, except in my imagination. I am a real homebody, but thanks for the invite!
DeleteMmmm, I am just soaking up some of that sun and warmth. Lovely!!! I am at an art workshop in Myrtle Beach, but although it is much warmer here than NY, it doesn't have that tropical feel like this does...at least not for a few more months. lol
ReplyDeleteThanks, Joan. I remember Hawaii! That was my favorite place to lie on the beach.
