Cherries the flavour of the day today....to which I am adding 2 paintings. The first one is done in a tighter style, more detail....

and the second one is Loose.......I went straight in with pen and then the watercolour. As you see I haven't painted all the cherries...thought it would speak for itself only painting a few of them, gives the viewer the opportunity to work it out for themselves.

oh I like the top version
ReplyDeleteThanks Linda, that's good to know :-)
DeleteYour fruits look good, like tasting good. You can paint them so fresh!
ReplyDeleteThanks Sirkka :-)
DeleteThey are both good in their own way. Different strokes for different folks!
ReplyDeleteThanks Penny........ I think that too, everyone to their own :-)
DeleteI worked it out. My brain finished the first painting, actually it was happy to see some unpainted; and then I liked the top one with it's black background setting the bright red cherries off! Two goodies today Ann, thanks!
ReplyDeleteThanks Lynn, I enjoyed painting both of these, but my personal fav is the second one.
DeleteAnn, they look delicious either way!!! I like the 2nd one best.
ReplyDeleteThanks Joan, ....I like the second one too, I think loose work has more energy :-)
