Bountiful Blooms 10x8 Watercolor & Water Soluble Pencil on 140# Strathmore Paper ©BEDeuel Bronson Hill Arts 2014 |
This was the last piece done for my first solo exhibit at the local Arts Council for August.
It was a magnificent summer in this part of the world for the gardens, wild and cultivated. Just cool enough, a significant amount of water and lots of sunlight kisses made for very satisfied flowers.
Though Labor Day weekend is not technically the end of summer, we're noticing a burst in activity by our garden dwellers, indicating they know the cooler weather is on it's way.
This was an excellent choice for a topic: celebrating the glory of this passing summer in the Northern hemisphere.
Enjoy it all!
