Sirkka -- you are so talented -- can you tell me what you changed to get this different style? It's always interesting to me to hear what others are doing -- and what are your thoughts about it? (As in, what prompted you to change, what were you thinking about, how did you decide what to change, and how do you like the change?)
jaguarish, many questons which I perhaps not can answer you. I want to change my style to be more expressiv I think. no need to be so realistic either. More colors.My goal has been to learn paint portraits so like the person as possible. Now I want to do something more - expressiv. I want brushe`s work is visible. Something like that. Perhaps it was to help! A little?
Thanks for explaining Sirkka - I hope I didn't ask too many questions! Guess it's my curiosity about the "behind the scenes" work of an artist. I like this expressive style!
By all means, you, jaguarish, you can ask so many questions you want, I am not so good to give explanations only. I am very glad you like the style, I must practise it more for developing it.

Love it and the red glasses are fabulous! I used to wear big red ones in the eighties...I need a pair like this!!
