Selfies "and Others", "Joan and Penny", Lynn Cohen

I had fun drawing with my new Staedtler pigment liner Sketch Pens I found at Staples yesterday. Drew last night with the finest pen, a 0.05 size. They do not smear. They are water fast, they do not fade and you can even keep the top off it for 18 hours before it will dry out.

I had fun drawing and today painting Joan and Penny from the photos they put on the blog. I hope more of you will do the same, as  really love drawing portraits. Are you gals okay for me to put this on my  SBS Facebook page and my blog?

  1. What a terrific page with these portraits Lynn. When you go for something you really get on with it don't you. I definitely feel that you are inspiring me to try more portraits (something I am not comfy with), but heyho...I'll keep trying.

    1. Thanks Ann! And the biggest thanks is hearing I have inspired another artist who I greatly admire to draw outside her comfort zone! Can't wait to see more portraits from you.
