"Wildlife", Ram, Lynn Cohen

In Sketchbook Skool we are doing some one line drawings with Brenda Swenson (teacher).
I used that technique to draw this long horned ram ... did not lift the pen from the paper start to finish.
Pretty happy with the way it came out too. Then added watercolor to the water soluble ink. The black is mostly ink and water.
We saw this ram on one of our cross country trips, probably in South Dakota, Custer State Park.
They are among my very favorite wild animals.

She is a gal of your own artist taste. I vouch for her.

  3. Lynn, you gave him so much texture with your lines!!! Great job on this one. What kind of ink are you using? Ilike the way the black shaded the ram.

    1. Thanks Joan, it was my Uni Ball Vision elite which is water soluble. Or maybe a different Uni Ball. I cleaned my desk yesterday and now I am not sure as all pens got put away. LOL

    1. Thanks Ann. I have had these guys walk right next to our car in Custer State Park. It was quite wonderful to behold.

  5. This is wonderful, Lynn. I love how he's looming towards us in the picture. Also all the textures you've made with your pen lines.
