We had a cloudy, drizzly day here today so I didn't out out plein air painting. Instead I headed to my local gas station where I knew there would be plenty of activity.

Good thinking....finding a place where things are happening, great idea, great drawing.
ReplyDeleteI knew I needed to sketch comething for the day. lol Thanks.
DeleteFab sketching.Very detailed and colorful
ReplyDeleteCarol Ann.
Carol Ann, thanks! There is always something going on there.
DeleteSo, did you do this in line waiting for gas, or pulled over to the side just to draw? And did you paint at the scene of the crime? Wondering?
ReplyDeleteBeautifully done in colorful detail!
Thanks, Lynn. I pulled into the gas station and backed into one of the parking spaces so I was facing forward. I didn't need gas at all. I had my pens and pencil and little wc palette with me and did the entire thing while I was sitting there. It is rare here to sit in line waiting for gas...unless maybe you are getting gas early in the am while on the way to work. Luckily I don't have to do that.
DeleteBeautiful depiction of an ordinary event. Love it.
