Even though I am retired I usually set my alarm for 7am and take a walk. Most days I walk by myself as soon as I roll out of bed. But every Wednesday and Friday I meet two friends so I have to get up even earlier. Today I was out of bed at 6:30 and washed up, got dressed and was ready by 7am. I had my coffee and oatmeal with strawberries before meeting my walking buddies at 7:30am at the ecology center.
My sneakers are always ready, tucked under the back of the rocking chair. I'm on my way out the door today by 7:20. I should be on time to meet Marge and Elaine.
NIce start to the day! Love the sneakers! I wish I could make myself walk in the mornings because it is so hot later in the day. Can't seem to do it, though.
ReplyDeleteI walk at 7 because I know if I wait it will never get done. It took me a long time to get used to the routine. Thanks.
Deleteoh Joan you sure are a early bird your a rel trooper.. You must be very fit body wise as well as mentally with a good breakfast choice.. Excellent daily Life Theme.
ReplyDeleteThanks. I figure if I start the day right maybe I won't be so lazy in the evening and want to consume everything in site. lol It doesn't work all the time.
DeleteWay to go! I have to get walking too. Good for you and great sketches, especially the sneakers.
ReplyDeleteThank you. I literally drag myself out the door some days. lol
DeleteThat is a great routine. When I was working I would get up and go swimming every morning. Its a great way to start the day. Now I'm home it is harder to do. I admire your routine, and as always love your sketches.
ReplyDeleteIt is a great routine to have, and if I miss it for some reason I feel out of sorts. lol Thanks.
DeleteI do love both your sketches and thinking about the lovely day you are going to have when you meet up with Marge and Elaine.
ReplyDeleteThanks. It is fun to have people to walk with once in a while...the talking makes the walk pass quickly.
DeleteWonderful drawings painted well of a great daily routine/habit. So healthy! Bravo on both the art and the walking!
